By pressing the transfer button for 2 sec., the frequency indication display goes over to

the s o called direct tuning mode. Only the active frequency is indicated which c an be di-

rectly tuned by both of the concentric knobs. Display will return to the active mode/stand-

by frequency m ode by pressing the transfer button again.
